Vasárnap hajnalban Olaszország kilép a schengeni egyezményből és ismét bevezeti az útlevél-ellenőrzést a határokon. Ha a következő hetekben érkezel az olaszokhoz, jobb ha van nálad pár hónapig érvényes útlevél!
A rendelkezést a L’Aquilaban július 8 és 10 között megrendezésre kerülő G8 csúcs miatt vezették be és a jelenlegi tervek szerint június 28-tól július 15-ig lesz érvényben. Elméletileg magyar személyigazolvánnyal továbbra is lehet utazni, de reptereken számtalanszor megjártam már a régi (nem kártya) típusú kiskönyvemmel – így ha teheted, jobban jársz egy még pár hónapig érvényes útlevéllel.
