Ugyan nem vagyok híve a lánc-írósdinak, de ha könyvről van szó, akkor nem tudok ellenállni. Így hát pazzo felkérésére, íme az én toplistám azokból a könyvekből, amiket 2008-ban olvastam.
Előrebocsátom, hogy a zsűrinek – vagyis nekem – igen nehéz dolga volt. Mióta tömegközlekedő lettem, csak úgy habzsolom a könyveket (amiért igen hálás vagyok). Idén három, számomra meghatározó könyvet is újraolvastam sokadszorra (Flow, A végtelen történet, Mennyei prófécia), de ezekről már beszámoltam, úgyhogy inkább első-olvasottak közül választottam ötöt:
1., J.K. Rowling: The Tales of Beedle the Bard (Hermione Granger fordításában és Albus Dumbledore jegyzeteivel) – ez az a könyv, amit a Harry Potter sorozat utolsó részében ad Dumbledore professzor Hermionénak; 5 varázslómesét tartalmaz, mindegyik végén Dumbledore kommentjeivel); minden Harry Potter rajongónak és meséket kedvelő olvasóknak ajánlom (egyelőre csak angolul jelent meg)
2., Alexander McCall Smith: The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (hatkönyves sorozatból hárommal végeztem 2008-ban) – 6 könyv, 6 különálló történet ugyanazzokkal a főszereplőkkel; a történetek az afrikai Botswanaban játszódnak és egy-egy krimibe ágyazva mutatja be a botswanai emberek életét, gondolkodásmódját és értékeit; az embernek kedve támad Botswanaban élni! (sajnos csak angol nyelvű kiadásban találtam eddig)
3., Nick Hornby: Slam (Betoncsók) - imádom Nick Hornby írásait, és habár nem ez a legjobb könyve, érdekes témáról ír érdekes szemszögből; egy tinédzser teherbe ejti szintén tinédzser barátnőjét és arról szól, hogy a srác hogyan birkózik meg ezzel
4., Cristopher Paolini: Brisingr – az Eragon (“Örökség”)-sorozat harmadik része, ami másfél év késéssel jelent csak meg; ugyanolyan jó, mint az első két könyv; sárkány- és meseimádó gyerekeknek és felnőtteknek (magyarul várhatóan 2009 júniusában fog megjelenni)
5., Joanne Harris: The lollipop shoes (Csokoládécipő) - Joanne Harrisnek nincs olyan könyve, amit ne olvastam volna; ez könyv sem okozott csalódást: izgalmas, szép, hihetetlenül jól megírt karakterekkel
Az öt ember pedig, akit szeretnék felkérni, hogy mutasson be 5 könyvet, amit 2008-ban olvasott: kriwi, mimke, zhaoman, Czimi és Csilla

Köszönöm ezt a meghívást, már csak azért is, mert nagyon szeretek olvasni, és szinte mindenevő vagyok! Ma már nem biztos, hogy lesz időm, de holnap első dolgom lesz, hogy megírom kedvenceimet (ajajjj)! Addig is jó olvasgatást a jó meleg szobában (szegény kutyik, nem tüntek tul boldognak a karácsonyfa alatt)!
