Olaszország helyi előadóinak legkedveltebb, legtöbbet játszott dalai 2008-ban:
Max Pezzali – Mezzo pieno o mezzo vuoto
Szeretjük. Van ugye az a bizonyos pohár, ami félig üres vagy félig teli. A dal többnyire felsorolás a dollártól Britney Spears-ig, hogy kinek hibájából üres. De Max Pezzali játszik és élvezi az életet.
Fabri Fibra – In Italia
Erről már korábban ítrunk, sőt a fordítás is megtalálható. Tökéletes ellenpontja a Max Pezzali számnak. Gianna Nannini hangja már nem a régi, sőt már nincs is nagyon neki.
Ligabue – Il centro nel Mondo
Ligabue-t általában szeretjük, szerintem ez a szám “cosí, cosí”.
Caparezza – Vieni a ballare in Puglia
“Gyere táncolni Pugliá-ba!” Nálunk ez most a number 1. Caparezza-nak sajátos stílusa van, mindig kevésbé konvenzionális számokkal rukkol elő. Óriásit lehet rá tombolni a buliban.

Jovanotti – Safari
Az olasz zenei világ fenegyereke. Kezdeti munkásságával nemigen lopta be magát az olasz közönség szívébe. Aztán lassan-lassan azért mégiscsak kialakult a rajongótábora, ő finomította kicsit stílusát és ezzel együtt nőtt az általános népszerűsége. Azért a klipből látszik, hogy nem tudja teljesen meghazudtolni önmagát.
Gianluca Grignani – Ciao e arrivederci
Rengeteget játszák ezt a számot a helyi rádiókban. A dal nem is olyan rossz, kár hogy Gianluca meglehetősen kevéssé szimpatikus és nem tud énekelni.
A fentieken kívül nagyon népszerű zenekarok Olaszországban még
- Negramaro főként a lázadó fiatalok körében,
- Vasco Rossi a nagyöreg zenész, szinte kötelező szeretni,
- Zucchero, nem éppen fiatal és borzalmasan csúnya szegény, viszont tényleg szép dalokat szeret.
A külföldön legismertebb énekes, Eros Ramazotti azonban egyáltalán nem élvezi a hazájabeliek szeretetét. Sőt kifejezetten ciki!
