Legjobb dolog abban, hogy a munkám időnként Rómába sodor, hogy megismerem a legjobb, rómaik által kedvelt (nem puccos, nem drága) helyeket.
A kollégák vittek el az alábbi kis étterembe, ami állítólag híres a helyiek körében. Igazi olasz hangulata van: kockás abroszok, egyszerű székek, a falon fa polcokon borok és grappák.
Étlap nincsen, a menü fix áras. 25 EUR-ért annyit eszel, amennyi belédfér (és állítólag még senki nem tudta végigenni az összes felszolgált ételt). Ráadásul ebben a víz, a bor és a végén digestivo is benne van.
Először jönnek az előételek, szépen sorban egymás után. Én már itt kifeküdtem, pedig igyekeztem nem mindent megkóstolni (mozzarella di buffala, sonkák, fűszeres ricotta, saláták, grillezett zoldség, szalámik, bruschetta). Az asztalunkon egymás hegyén hátán landoltak a tálak a különböző finomságokkal. A szalámikat pedig egy kis kosárkában hozták ki, és a vágódeszkán saját magad vághattad le amit és amennyit éppen kívántál.
Aztán érkeznek az első fogások. Mi esteünkben ez tészta volt rucolával és friss paradicsommal („Háromszínű, mint Olaszország!” – mondta nekem a pincér mosolyogva, amikor letette elém a tányért), majd a pasta alla ragú.
A második fogást kihagytuk, mert addigra már mindannyiunk kipurcanásig ette. Ha valakinek sikerül ideáig eljutnia, akkor szintén kétfajta főfogással kell megküzdenie. Ottjártamkor valami sült hús féle és rákragu volt, amit serpenyőben hoztak ki az asztalokhoz. Az se lehetett rossz :-)
Utolsóként négyféle édességből választottunk egy karamellás csodát, valahogy azt azért még magunkba tuszkoltuk.
Az egészet pedig megkoronáztuk a saját készítésű digestivo-jukkal (csak hogy rendben legyen az emésztésünk). 6 féle üveget raktak elénk, amiket szépen végigkóstoltunk. Az Amaro-juk aratta a legnagyobb sikert, de az Amarena likőr és a grappa is kiváló.
Igazi élmény ez az étterem, szívből ajánlom, ha valaki Rómában jár!
