Miután az évfordulónkon kudarcba fulladt a romatikázós, termálfürdőzős tervünk, már éppen elkönyveltem magamban, hogy Észak-Olaszországban bizony nincsnek igazi melegvízben lebegős-áztatós, ellazulós fürdők. Az itteni „termálfürdők” ugyanis
a., hidegvizesek (értsd: 13-15 Celsius fok) vagy
b., 15.30-kor bezárnak még hétvégén is vagy
c., az ún. wellness-re specializáltak, tehát iszapfürdő, masszázs, szauna és egyéb gyógykezelések megtalálhatók, csak éppen úszkálásra alkalmas medencéjük nincs.
Ezt panaszoltam el Mira olasz pasijának, aki ezt szépen kikérte magának és felhívta a figyelmünket a Verona közelében található Villa dei Cedri-re. (Csak azt nem értem, hogy a különböző „terme”-ket ajánló olasz internet site-ok hogy a fenébe nem listázzák ezt a helyet a többi használhatatlan link között!)
Park közepén természetes melegvizes tavacska, éjjel kettőig nyitva. Ez az! Szépen eltoltuk hát az évforduló ünneplést egy héttel és péntek este nekivágtunk. 9 órakor felszedtük kisvirág-ékat a veronai vasútállomáson és kissé vészjósló, elhagyatott utakon autózva 10 órára megérkeztünk. (Be kell vallanom, volt bennem egy kis kétség a nyitvatartást illetően a fürdő internet oldala és a telefonos információ ígértének ellenére is.)
Belépő 20 EUR, ami még magyar viszonylatba is elfogadható árnak számít. Egy kis séta a köves úton a botanikus kertbe illő fák és virágok között. Aztán erősen kezd sűrűsödni a köd. Aztán ahogy közeledünk ködből lassan kirajzolódik egy tó. Az infrastruktúra minimál, minden egyszerűen és természetesen van kialakítva. Fügönnyel záródó fabódék az öltözők, a mosdóhoz pedig 10 percet kell gyalogolni, de az ember mégis mindent megtalál, ami a kellemes fürdőzéshez kell.
Ahogy a 34 Celsius fokos vízű, helyenként sejtelmesen kivilágított tóban úszunk, olyan mintha álmodnánk. Egy mesébe csöppentünk és most a felhőkön lebegünk. Az óriási százéves fenyők közül mindjárt jönnek a tündérmanók, tálcán hozzák a finomságokat és mézédes nektárokat, miközben a tücsökzenekar andalító muzsikát játszik. Ott pedig egy ezüst unikorins körvonala tűnik fel a gomolygó gőz mögött.
Órákig úszkálunk, a zubogóknál maszíroztatjuk a vízsugárral a nyakunk, a hátunk és időnként bemászunk a 37-39 fokos medencékbe a tó közepén. Felfedezzük a barlangot és játszunk az kavicsokkal, amiket a mederből helyenként feltörő víz táncoltat meg. Záróráig ki sem jövünk.
Az biztos, hogy ide még ellátogatunk. Észak-Olaszország egy rejtett kincse. Még egy ok, hogy a Garda-tó legyen a kedvenc helyünk. Legközelebb nappal érkezünk és a vízből nézzük a naplamentét. Éjszakára pedig kibéreljük az egyik apartmant, amihez természetesen saját bejáratú jacuzzi is tartozik!
