Búvárkodni

búvárkodás nélkül. Vessük hát bele magunkat a kétezer éves vízalatti
történelembe, no meg a vízalatti vulkánokba :-)
Két merülésünk
volt a SeaPoint dive centerrel a Baianál lévő Nápolyi-öböl csücskében. Sajna
előző napokban sokat esett, így a 6-15 méteren lévő merülőhelyek megteltek a
felkevert planktonnal és homokkal (a fotók így nem a legcsodálatosabbak).
Első merülés – drogos halak
Elsőnek a
természetvédelmi területen belül egy olyan helyre merültünk, ahol a
tengerfeneket különböző helyeken áttöri a vulkanikus tevékenység, szökik
minden: buborékolva tör fel a kénes melegvíz. Jópofa, mintha eresztene a
medence, mindenütt apró gyöngysorban törnek fel a buborékok. A halak meg
imádják a buborákoló melegvizet (jacuzzi ;-) és erős a gyanúm, hogy a kénre is
rá vannak kattanva, vizenyős szemekkel bámultak csak a kamerába. A fenéken még
80 fokos víz, kesztyűn keresztül is lehetett érezni a forróságát.
Nápoly és
környéke, a divemaster szerint a világ geológiailag leaktívabb területe:
állandó mozgásban van, s bár a nagy földrengések ritkák, évente több
centimétert mozognak a különböző lemezek, az útikönyv szerint megnézhettünk
volna jópár liftező épületet a környéken.
Második merülés – elsüllyedt város
Másodiknak
merültünk a mindössze hat méter mélyen lévő elsüllyedt városrészbe, ami kétezer
évvel ezelőtt egy gazdag család palotája volt. Átrium, kert, külön híd, hogy az
uralkodó kényelmesen tudjon kilépni hajójáról, medence, termál-medence,
oszlopok és mozaik. Képzeld el a hatalmas római kori palotát … majd vágd el
egy méter magasban :-)
Kétezer év és a
tenger hullámzása megtette a hatását, impresszívnek nem mondanám a látványt (a
felkavart tenger miatt kicsi volt a látótávolság), de nagy adag fantáziával ki
lehetett egészíteni mindent. Legjobbak az oszlopok voltak, amiknek a lábazatát és
bordázatát jól ki lehetett venni így is. A mozaik sajnos csak kis részen
megtekinthető, ráadásul az is takarva van, a divemaster libbentette fel a
fátylat, hogy betekinthessünk.
Tisztább
tengerrel igazából mindkettőt ajánlom érdekességnek :-)

Great idea megwag!I’m looch (I don’t post my real name on line) and I live in Switzerland with my Swiss hubsand and 11 month old son. I’ve been here since 2008 and we’re moving back to the US next year. Usually I do a Thanksgiving party, but last year I was too pregnant to deal with it and this year we’re having our son’s 1st birthday party instead.
