Mindig csak a játék, igaz? Dolgozni azt senkinek sincs kedve (momentán nekem se). Jött itten egy 500. bejegyzés, meg vagy 3500 vélemény, meg eltelt egy Húsvét, befejeződött az Elfelejtett kincsek novella, adtunk a férfiolvasóknak is valamit (osszátok be, egyhamar nem lesz ilyen…), közben meg lett új képernyővédőnk és még mindig csak az a kérdés, mikor játszunk megint.
Mint tudjuk, ez nem egy OLYAN blog, ezért nem lesz non-stop játékőrület, de merthogy ünnepelni jó az 500. bejegyzést, játszani meg szerettek – cserébe a boldogságért kaptok 11 darab játékot, 7 napon keresztül.
A felállás a következő:
- 11 különálló játék indul a következő egy hétben. Játszhatsz egyikben, vagy mindegyikben
- Ha először vagy itt, játssz Te is, nem kell ismerni a blogot!
- Mindegyik játék csapatjáték, bármikor csatlakozhatsz, nincsen egy nyertes: blogírók a blogolvasók ellen ;-)
- holnap (11-én) reggel jelenik meg az első játék, az utolsó pedig jövő hét kedden (17-én)
- mindegyik játék teljesítési/megoldási határideje 2007. április 17-e, 17 óra 4 perc.
- a játékok elsősorban együttműködést és találékonyságot kívánnak, nem lesz logikai feladvány
- megoldott feladat esetén kijelölhettek egy témát, amiről írnunk kell és megnevezhettek egyet a kimaradt Olaszország mondatok közül, amit meg kell csinálnunk.

I agree with Nelly. He made a choice to make that video. was it dsgsuiting? Yes. Did it exploit the women in it .mmmm, that’s obviously up for debate. They chose to be a part of it. They chose their current occupations. it’s not exploitation when the participants are fully aware of what they are getting into.. The women in that video knew exactly what they were doing. Go to a strip club in Atlanta and you see much worse. Sad part is, those women were lined up. As far as Nelly having a daughter: i am sure he is making sure that his little girl grows up to be a woman with far more self respect and dignity than to ever get involved in something like that. or allow it. So, now that we’ve established that Nelly didn’t exploit anyone, let’s talk about him trying to raise awareness about leukemia. I think it was jacked up that Spelman with their ‘our s**t don’t stink, we’re too good for that’ attitude made such a big deal about that video and wouldn’t let him do a good thing. I bet half their husbands and boyfriends have received lap dances from the women in that video. they just didn’t want to know about it. As women, we do have to start taking responsibility for our own actions. this is a case of wanting to put the blame where it shouldn’t be. First things first, let’s look at the women that allow this activity in the strip clubs. the women need to take responsibility.
By no means am I an Nelly fan or advocate but he was dead on with his rpssonee. How can you blame someone for something that was beyond their realm of control. If these women had a higher standard of themselves, videos such as Tip Drill would have never been made. These women popped and clapped their asses on their own he didnt FORCE them to do anything. If you seen what the video was and didnt want to participate They would not HAVE to. This is human will. Ans if one’s will is weak they will allow others to lead them into the depths of oblivion. People have got 2 be held accountable for their OWN actions and stop making rappers and entertainers the scapegoats for everything wrong with society.

A couple of quick ctroecrions addendums, gang;- the Leno/ Letterman book Josh refers to in the episode is actually titled The Late Shift: Letterman, Leno, and the Network Battle for the Night , by Bill Carter. Read it a few years back, and concur very good read. Having read it though, the current imbroglio comes as no real shock, because a) NBC have a terrible track record with talent relations, and b) Leno is absolutely relentless in solidifying his support base with the affiliates; personally calling affiliate heads weekly, doing ads promos gratis for local stations and just generally busting his ass off trying to ingratiate himself /network with/ instill personal loyalty in these people. The affiliates are the actual customers who are, after all, the ones paying cold hard cash money to NBC.(BTW, the book alone is worth it just for Leno himself admitting how he used to eavesdrop on NBC exec’s conference calls to get an advantage over Dave funny, funny stuff)Consider it the advantage of persistance mixed with rat-bastard cunning. I call it ‘the Howard factor’ (OOOH satire! *ahem*)- the reason that Australian TV ‘shutsdown’ at 10:30pm is purely because the local networks here have trained viewers to expect it. Cast your mind back 10-15 years and arguably the hardest fought ratings battle on the box was (variations of) Steve Vizard (w/Richard Stubbs) vs Graham Kennedy vs Clive Robertson vs Lateline vs straight news. Long ago now, but I think it proved Australians would watch later starting shows if the content was treated like it matters. Sure, some good shows have been put later than 10:30 since, but without the ‘razzle dazzle’ to cue the audience that it’s not just intended as overnight filler. It’s a conscious (or possibly sub-conscious decision by the networks to not contest the timeslot in the way the US does. And of course it’s just massively cheaper to recycle the 6pm news with a different face reading the autocue. – Brett (I think) pointed out that ‘the Skyshow’ is an anachronism and no longer takes place this side of the country. Point of fact Canberra still runs one every year, dodgy out-of-sync radio simulcast included. Only they add FA-18 jet fighters to the mix. Still crap though.

@ursulab – csak játszunk (tizen)egyet, ünneplésképpen. Hamarosan megjelenik az első játék (feladvány, küldetés, feladat? magam sem tudom minek nevezzem). Irogatni kell kommentbe megfejtést, összedolgozni a többiekkel, ilyesmi. :-) Jól érezni magad leginkább!

I do not actually treatment how or after i get the Letters in the Mail. Every time it arrives, it feels like a letter should be. It’s suddenly there in my mail box one particular day. A good, tangible surprise. I’m for you doing whatever you want when you send it. Mix it up for your people who help get it sent out. Include crumbs from your lunch. Coffee stains. Whatever. Keep the tedious naturel of getting letters out to a minimum by doing whatever you feel like that day. The arrival in the letter and the words from the author inside are what matters. Personally, what I like very best about The Rumpus is that I in no way understand what I’ll go through that day. Or if there is just not one that day, maybe it’s because Stephen couldn’t uncover anything to say or there was much too much going on.
